Chinese is going to take over English on steam eventually within the next 5 years. It's an explosion since Steam fully got allowed in China outside of the Chinese only version of Steam. Before the lockdowns, the only Chinese steam accounts were 90% internet cafes, which has their own licenses through Steam with usually a shared Steam account across the whole internet cafe. Since the lockdowns PC gaming has gotten heavily popular in China and Japan in terms of growth, and it's allowing what has existed for years to be showcases in statistics better.
