have any of you completed a Teclis campaign on vh/legend?
the initial enemy i kill in two turns then recruit until turn 4 when the fateweaver flips one of my towns, if it flips to fateweaver i restart if it goes to nurgle i continue. if i dont restart i have to declare on fateweaver early and he just keeps teleporting armies over to me or just sailing, while i deal with that the skaven declare on me and it takes too long to remove them from the game while defending agaisnt the fateweaver with one army.
if it goes to nurgle i take it back and kill the skaven, their province is huge taking at least 20 turns to take it all compleatly. the skaven armies will be in underway stance and you cannot catch them so they will retake the settlements you have to work your way back through the province after taking the last settlement as they will have recaptured some.
by this point fateweaver will have declared war on you and will take one or two of your starter towns, there may also be a rebellion in your capital with skaven and fateweaver shagging everything. once you deal with this and kick them all out the next logical step would be to take out fateweaver however its chaos wastes and high elves have no anti attrition stance nor can you reliably replenish units in the wastes. you can take out the town with a port but anything else seems unreasonable as you have a depleted army and the ai will field more armies than you can, the slanesh faction will also declare on you. what ends up happening is that one of the lizardmen factions wipes fateweaver out for you and the next enemy is the savage orcs.
wurzag will have at least 6 armies all with waaahgs against your two.
the diplomacy mechanic does nothing on vh/ledge am i supposed to be using sealanes to go find people who will trade so i can support more armies?
