I am already a disabled veteran, I kind of got screwed because of the ranking system, so I never advanced despite getting out with EPs, MPS and an honorable. It would require me collecting my disability from the VA plus the pay from the DOD. I'd actually make less joining the military because I was so fucked over. It's crazy they gave me a TS/SCI and then I went plunging toilets. God only knows how much they spent on me, but I'd actually get paid less for joining at this point, plus my healthcare and schooling is free in some states so I am definitely going to push that advantage to become a mega coomer.
