1) It shows they're not just pretending to play. There's an authenticity to it. If I wanted to listen to a super polished performance, I'd go listen to the CD.
2) It shows even they can make mistakes, and it adds a bit of relatability.

Personally, I think Adventus was the peak of Mujica concerts so far. It's not perfect technically, but the energy was great, and they overall sounded pretty fucking good good. (Plus, they played the entirety of the Elements album back-to-back as an album, and that's based as fuck.) The joint MyGO/Mujica concert (especially Day 1) was just a bit too sloppy for me.

I don't know my J-rock/pop/whatever, but it's cool that Mujica was the closing act for the whole festival for that stage.

But why do Japanese music festivals end so early?
