President Zelenskyy posthumously awarded Tigran Oganesyan and Mykyta Khanhanov - the two teenagers that Russians killed in occupied Berdiansk in June of 2023.

They remained in the city after it was occupied by Russia and never hid their pro-Ukrainian positions. Tigran and Mykyta were reportedly tortured and could have been sentenced to decades of imprisonment.

Russia refuses to return their bodies to their parents or to Ukrainian authorities. There are reports that they have been secretly buried.
