Cytube night today at 6pm EST (about an hour and a half from this post) for music and hanging out and such.
I am not too sure yet if I'll be available next weekend to do movie night but we shall see.

Neat to see Maeve make an appearance, though I would've liked more description of her. The section on the transformation is very visual and pretty well described so it felt a little jarring to me when Maeve shows up and there isn't too much to go off of in forming a mental picture of her.

I don't solo queue for duos so playing them requires planning a time to queue together... pretty often I just randomly have a little time free and my phone on hand. It's like how other people doomscroll social media, maybe? I wouldn't know. I like the actual gameplay itself though so it's *kind of* fun as long as I don't care too much about winning, and getting to GM doesn't take that long anyway.

It's for the best; duos are much more fun. I liked solos for the first few seasons but once the meta solidified more they got much less enjoyable unfortunately.
I did see a rare interesting deck the other day though; someone using McGonagall echo with Protego Diabolica and Priori Protego Totalum. Phoenix to drop a card and cycle faster, so 2+ Diabolicas up at once to stack their % damage reduction. Hermione/Luna/Daniel companions, kept in the circle as best as possible via Sidealong. Diabolica and Gubrathian Fire were their only offence and mediocre at that, but good enough given their massive amount of defence. Might actually be a viable build; I won once and lost once against it.

Yeah pretty much... I think the whales would cry if they did so maybe that's why? I'm not sure though; the balance decisions for this game are a strange mix of mostly very reasonable changes and a few absolutely baffling ones. It is really overdue for a nerf though.
