Tbh a bit embarrassing I didn't know that, I grew up around a lot of fishermen. But I guess they prob don't really use those, they just throw it in the live tank on the fishing boat, or kill them right away.
Kind of unrelated, but there was a townie bar in my hometown that had a dock extending into the water, and fishermen would pull right up to the dock and sell their catches directly to the restaurant. Idk if it's still there, but I hope it is, it was cool to watch
