I guess so but I think everyone here understands the German frustration coming from Finland scamming Hitler and not joining the glorious endsieg and the plans to make Lapland useless for military action.
Some years ago I visited a memorial for one of the last battles of the war and it read in Finnish and German "For peace and fatherland at the cost of brotherhood.". I think it really catches the feelings about it here.
