She needs the stars to align for her to even be a viable pick like, the enemy team having an AAing ADC with an engage support, and then the other lanes also need to have 2-3 more engage or melee.
Her kit is also awkward, and she doesn't have any items. You literally build all the active support items on her because Rito removed her item when they removed Mythics.
Then she needs teammates who know what her W does, and to actually go back into the fight, but people will often just run away and bleed out.
She desperately needs a relaunch or rework. It's crazy how Rell has had several, but Renata is just stuck in her current state.
