idiot + democracy is very accurate. we tried implementing literacy tests to vote but nooo they were deemed racist or something by liberals and presumably jewish judges. so every election some libertarian or fiscal hawk republican tries to convince voters to cut entitlements spending so we stop ruining the currency via inflationary money printing, and every election the voters say "fuck dat wypipo shit and gibs me my gotdamn gibsmedats" and of course boomers are terrified of losing their free ride into the sunset (medicare + social security). so at this point the GOP has been so terrified of hemorrhaging boomer votes they tiptoe around any entitlement cuts and just do a tax cut or something they can actually get away with. democracy is the primary failure point. not lobbying, corruption, etc. it's too much democracy. illiterate niggers are allowed to vote every two years. the senate wasn't an elected office until a century or so ago, they used to be appointed. if only white men voted, the very nature of political discourse and policies would be drastically different, not just the partisan outcomes of elections
