The “fantasy” is their religion, which is a post hoc rationalization of their deepest inner desires. The aim of the Kabbalist doctrine, for example, is to perfect the soul via reincarnation and to transmigrate into the divine realm to reunify with God. This is a symptom of their physiological condition. All morality is a symptomatology. The strong deify nature, and the weak defy it. These people, weak as they are, want to transcend nature and venture into the “supernatural.” (The irony being that they will do no such thing.)
