I pulled all the IDs and without knowing what any of them do and I uptied them to max without even attempting to read what they do

To be fair, I have played the game since day 1 over 2 years ago, have completed and gotten every reward from all the end game events and even I to this day, don't fully undertand all the mechanics yet.
I guess the best way to describe it is a card game where you control 6-7 characters at a time and each character's "deck" has several copies of 3 different cards. Every 'card' you play builds up a seperate resource you need for special attacks you can use at anytime and you generally build your roaster around both which characters attacks synergize with each other and what kind of resource their attacks give you so you can keep spamming the special attack type you need to win.
That's not even including all the passive buffs, ways you can manipulate which cards to discard, RNG on if the attack hits and boss mechanics that you need to keep in mind.
