an essential thing you should probably know is the 125 damage threshold, you can set up how your health is divided, by pieces of 25 and 50, players have 150 health. if you getdowned once, you always have 125 health, meaning long ammo rifles (unless silenced), will one shot to the body on full health within 40 meters. medium ammo and compact ammo have a damage drop-off of 30meters and 20meters, damage drop-off is quite important and small amounts of damage difference (for example, the new army pistol VS the officer pistol) can mean the difference between 2 shot kill or 3 shot kill when hitting limbs or body at X distance. most important take-away is expect to get downed by a body-shot from long ammo rifles if you've been downed once, and can down people the same way.
also, FMJ ammo extends the damage distance by 10 meters i believe? not sure because i never use FMJ.
a lot of people set up their health with only bars of 25, which means you can burn off their full health with a single fire damage of 25+(not incen ammo, that just chars or sets on fire) such as alert trip mines, hellfire bomb, or a fire beetle explosion.
a gameplay trick you can use if somebody is sitting somewhere but not peeking, is to keep your sight on them, do a heavy melee attack and VERY often they will pop their dumb head out for you to shoot, even at high ranks, its just instinct.
i have a recent webm getting a noscope headshot like that but the steam recorder cut exactly the hitmark and fucking kill..
also don't crouch unless you are specifically hiding your head and can't hide otherwise, or you could very easily get headshot laterally like in other webms in the thread, the head gets pushed out to the side of what is typically bodyshot-height.
