You have to admit, NODs is a genuine big ass issue. The entire point of STALKER games was going from being the stalked running around in a panic in the dark to becoming a genuine terror popping heads in pitch black with your silenced gun of choice as bandit filth piss themselves. Binoculars aren't nearly as important for the sequel since shit only spawns near you for now, maybe if they ever get around to properly implementing distant spawns like the originals they can include binocs with it, but NODs are a far more critical issue.
