We would be fine with it but not Pakistan. The entire reason why Pakistan was created was as an anti-India/Hindu country. Without conflict with India, Pakistan has no reason to exist and the whole two nation theory fails. India already has peaceful relations with pretty much every Islamic country in the world, except Pakistan and Bangladesh.
