The 1488th Anti-Aircraft Missile Red Banner Regiment has been awarded the honorary title
Vladimir Putin signed the Decree "On awarding the 1488th Anti-Aircraft Missile Red Banner Regiment the honorary title".

For mass heroism and bravery, fortitude and courage demonstrated by the regiment's personnel in combat operations to defend the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, I decree:

1. To award the 1488th Anti-Aircraft Missile Red Banner Regiment the honorary title "Guards" and henceforth to call it: 1488th Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile Red Banner Regiment.

2. This Decree shall enter into force on the day of its signing.
