A loud explosion was reported in Engels, Russia. A large plume of smoke was seen rising in the area. Per ASTRA, the blast may have occurred at the 9th Central Automobile Repair Plant, located 2 km from the Kristall oil depot — or possibly at the RusKon-S pipeline valve plant nearby.
