Don't remind me, I had a GameInformer subscription forced on me in 2009 at FUCKING GAMESTOP and for twelve months, I would read some of the stupidest reviews, editorials and opinion pieces, one opinion piece talking about how it's okay for games to play themselves if a player isn't good enough to beat a level. This was right around when Braid released and the amount of tools surrounding that game was enough for to never check it out.
Even better when Soulja Boy made that video and all the hipsters got butthurt and showed their true colors. Speaking of Gamestop, I remember those ads trashing stuff like Mario Kart and anything colorful while pushing gritty mature shooters with a preorder bonus.
