I doubt you actually watched Toradora to completion. If you just watched the first 5 episodes, I wouldn't blame you for having this opinion. But it actually subverts the premise it starts with.

Now Golden Time on the other hand. That show didn't. It stuck with the premise and kept resetting the premise back to baseline over and over again. And went out of its way to make the main characters as terrible as possible while screwing the secondary cast. It's hard to imagine it's written by the same author. And I wonder if the anime was a major change from her original story. It's so bad.
