because they are Bible literalists and follow the plain text of the Bible and take what Jesus commanded his disciples to do in his day as being direct literal commandments to all Christians at all points in time. The only text they have is the Bible, they have nothing additional outside of this that adds additional lore, beliefs or practices like every other denomination/sect of Christianity does (the Watchtower and Awake! articles and pamphlets are not taken as divine or spiritual texts like the jews have with the talmud or muslims do with the hadiths or other Christians do with canonical works of popes or whatever - it's just promotional material).
Not in the Bible? Then they don't believe it. Hell is never mentioned in the text so it isn't real. 'God's Kingdom' is described physically and Revelation says only 144,000 go to Heaven so they don't believe in going to Heaven and think God's Kingdom will physically exist on Earth. The book of Isaiah describes how God's people will be uber healthy gigachads that can run miles and not get sick and the land will be a paradise like Eden so they think this will literally happen after armageddon. The word used for the cross is open to interpretation so they dismiss it entirely since it's suspect. The J-man says you have to go out and be fishers of men preaching in the streets so the yknock on your door incessantly.
The best way to think of it is that Jehovah's Witnesses are the most autistic denomination of Christians, they are autist Christians. To explain Noah's flood that literally happened and make the water levels and geology make sense and the fact the Bible says that the 'floodgates of Heaven opened' they even believe Earth had Halo-like concentric ice rings like Saturn that God melted to release tonnes of water to flood the Earth.
