A Louisiana Subway owner, “Chandrakant Patel,” was arrested for immigration fraud after a decade long scheme in which he would pay police officers $5,000 a pop to create fake police reports in order for people to qualify for special visas reserved for victims of crime.

“Hundreds” of Indians received visas through Patel over the last decade.
