If you want an actual number then like, I don't know, 200 years? it depends on the proportional size of the remaining population. I find the question ridiculous and dumb in this context because Israel was founded in 1948, there were people who had their land stolen from them and their families slaughtered before their eyes all the way back then that are still alive today. Palestinians still make up over a third of the population of occupied Palestine. and all of this is irrelevant regardless because it's still happening TODAY. the genocide of the Palestinians and the ONGOING theft of the little land they have left is happening TODAY, RIGHT NOW. It goes without saying that they must put a stop to it immediately.
A comparable situation for your idea would be the formation of the united states and the genocide of the native americans. As completely horrible as it was, there's no justifying it, but today in 2025 there's next to nothing that can be done. Even if we somehow decided to give it all back (obviously never gonna happen) there's almost no one left to even give it back to. Native Americans now make up less than 2% of the population, the majority of whom possess mixed heritage (are now part-colonizer), and all of whom have been integrated as equal rights citizens. Compare that to a THIRD of the population that DOESN'T have equal rights, it's no contest. It's a battle long lost. The battle in Israel/Palestine is still winnable. In Israel there is harm being done today that must be put a stop to, there is harm that was done yesterday that must be undone. End genocide, end apartheid, end the ongoing destruction and theft of land, and give back everything that was taken in the past 50 years minimum. That would be a start.
