People who claim 'Body Type 1/2' bullshit applies to Pokemon SV clearly haven't played the game. One thing I was quite surprised by while playing it was how explicitly and often it refers to your selected gender. It made me realize that in most games with gender selection (I often play female characters) it's purely visual, and dialogue tends to avoid gendered terms. But in Pokemon SV it's repeatedly 'miss', 'her', 'your daughter' and so on, to the point of getting slightly uncomfortable. If there is one modern AAA game that still has a clear gender distinction, it's Pokemon.
