I don't think you are capable of understanding geopolitics. Isreal is what is described as 'an untenable situation'. In economic terms, it would be an example of the 'sunken-cost fallacy'. Eventually, you just have to stand back and let him take a beating. The ruling Likud party is a complete mess and Israel simply isn't worth defending anymore.
