King of the Hill is one of the few animated revivals I'm willing to let slide because it takes the opportunity to go through a significant time-skip that shakes up the overall setting and premise. It feels less like "making more episodes just because." That's the vibe I get from Hulurama, Phineas and Ferb, Gumball, and Regular Show especially. Three of those had perfect send-offs, and one only needed a finale movie at most.

The reason I like King of the Hill is because every time you watch it's like you've been plugged into a matrix simulation of a conservative middle aged white man in the Y2k era and you're just watching him vibe through his golden years. It's so fucking comfy and immediately takes me back to that time. Hank's life is so relatable and the show is so nuanced and you can tell mike judge really used high IQ to emulate all the details of real life to make arlen feel like a believable place. But now all that shit is going to change because now the simulation has been updated and hank is now in a post apocalyptic dystopia as an elderly man and now you have to watch him existentially suffer on a scale much greater than before. Now it's Hank who will be relating to us!!!
