I've seen people comment that they dropped the manga around the rape chapter because of how pushy Mai was and that the story made Renako out to be the bad guy having to apologize to her (which I agree was pretty stupid anyway)

I don't think they are going to soften up the rape, since it's such a pivotal moment in the story. But I do wonder in what way are they going to dramatize it.

I'm torn, unsure if I should read the LN or just wait for the manga...I feel like I'd ruin it, but I'm so damn curious about this supposed little sister arc...after the 4 month wait for the latest chapter, it fucked me up.
