Thank you for confirming what I had feared, and giving praise where it was due. I've yet to master the color wheel but I am trying hard, also now that you mention it, the contrast is lacking in some areas. I'll start working on my facial anatomy too. Hope to see you in the next thread or the one after that, I'll resubmit the illustration when I correct the mistakes.
This one I recently started so I can study metal and contrast, it uses around a third of the color wheel (warm tones) + a few cold values
