TL:DR - We should change how we refer to Disney's sequel trilogy in order to destroy their legitimacy in the public consciousness.

Inspired by a comment on a different board I am here to present an idea.
From now on the Disney Sequels should always be referred to as "The Disney Trilogy" referring to them as "The Sequels" puts them on the same level as the OT and the Prequels in terms of being part of a unified whole, which they are very much not. The reason for referring to the as "The Disney Trilogy is because language is very important and has the power to legitimise or de-legitimise something within the public consciousness. Remember how Disney were very adamant about making sure nobody that worked for them in any official capacity, right down to other companies doing merchandising absolutely could not refer to Grogu as "baby Yoda" even though that's how everyone referred to him. Calling the Sequels the "Disney Trilogy" will very much isolate them as a separate entity within how people view Star Wars.
