I agree that the no-tie look is stupid.
It doesn't make you look more casual, it just makes you look lame, the lack of a tie is ironically more of a noose than wearing a tie.
The tie is the only decorative element of the suit, to remove it, or rather to be forced to remove it because your boss told you "No tie!" is to remove the only unique part of your outfit. Like the peasant who is forbidden to wear silk for only the king may wear silk, these people are forbidden from wearing a tie.

However, holy fuck this guy is sniffing his own farts. He looks like he's orgasming on every word he says, he's so infaturated with himself.
He speaks with authority, commanding others with his fashion advice but he doesn't defend or justify his advice. He doesn't explain WHY you should wear a tie, what it does for the aesthetic of the suit, he just demeans the viewer, calling them a child for not dressing up.

He is furthermore foolish for thinking that these "young people" will magically start wearing a suit and tie when they grow up, that's not how fashion works, the old ddues wearing ties today were wearing ties when they were young also.
If people aren't wearing a suit and tie when they're 20, they're sure as hell not going to wear one when they're 40
