Big agree. I expected outrage and pushback back when Texas was doing their ID for porn shit, but there wasn't a whisper of resistance to it. You're going to have to use an ID to browse the web in 15-20 years tops and no one will care. To be fair, this was always the way the internet was going since the prevalence of mobile phone browsers entering the modern web. In the long run I'm optimistic because I think it's eventually going to lead to a web so sanitized by corporations (even more than it is already) that a critical mass of people retreat to alt-web options and real life communities again. Things are going to get worse before they get better though. Way worse.
