One of the major goals she has is to be attractive to sponsors, and she figured a plucky, bratty tomboy would be easier + actually represents her content much better.
Now that she pretty much has that with the cowgirl outfit, she can do pretty much whatever.
Something that got completely outshined by the summer and 3D concert is that she has a gyaru schoolgirl outfit now. It's even supposed to have shoulder-length twintails but there was a mixup and they weren't ready in time, so she's just using the pigtails.
