The problem with anime isn't the aesthetics but the "humor" (see "japanese humor.webm").
Normies can tolerate anime visuals, but they start to drop it once the screams, cringe humor, and blatant sexual harassment starts happening.
Only people that have gotten used to that shit can tolerate it and easily ignore those awful parts.
