This topic has been covered so much already. Its just another form of escapism, like gaming but more extreme. Some men just dont get much growing up, its the natural order of things, they used to achieve for themselves in war what they couldnt in peace. Western states are too stable and afraid of politics for that now, and its not like our celebrities and leaders are awe inspiring, with few economic incetive, whats left on the plate is whatever ideas happen to fall onto their laps.

In our time, the ideas come to them most easily through anime, through forums full of chronically online people, through porn. Rewarded over and over by positive feedback mechanisms, and reinforced by media narratives or imbecille parents. The common denominator in these is always women, no matter the ideology or policy or even religion. Their pleasure, their whims, their problems, their value systems. Our world has gravitated around them for decades.

Some end up hating women, some want to become them, many I think are in both fields. With nothing else to hold them, they do with what they have. The fault is ultimately a very weak generation of men who was and still is incapable of trasnmiting stronger ideas.
