Then after finishing Widgey, but before it was even published, they wanted more, and she worked on Pepper. Pepper as a character already existed and Steph was toying with the idea(as you can see earlier in this thread), but SLG talked her into doing a full thing. The workload for that plus the massive delays all this caused ultimately killed Creamy Beamy by a slow death of ever less frequent updates in 2009 and 2010, left the conclusion of the finale rushed, and meant the planned sequel where she went to Sucra never happened.
IntraGalactic marched on, Ivy was mostly drawn after Pepper was finished, but Steph had to wrangle the publishing issues and also SLG wanted her to work on collabs and help them raise money to deal with legal issues and attend their panels and also Steph still had a DA at this point and some commissions there and also Steph had to help her friend out with her Etsy and also move at one point and also Steph was 30 at this point, and so after Ivy and Beginjimin with zero buffer space she took a break, spent several months toiling for SLG, and when the company broke apart around her she basically vanished for a bit.
Steph did some DA stuff once in a while on SSakurai(especially ATLA and Korra), and toyed with continuing IntraGalactic or starting a new Creamy Beamy project, but I think by that point she lost the spark, and in 2014 started up her Patreon Supercake Studios and pivoted to full time commisioned work. (Albeit she did toss out that one page GPCB epilogue).
There was an attempt to maybe do another long webcomic with Sensible Girl, but that fizzeled out and honestly by the late 2010s her art quality was declining as she got up in years(she's past 40 now) and the thirst went away. She ultimately retired last year in Summer, but she gave 6 months notice so pretty much everything public was archived before she purged it.
She's currently writing teen novels and working at a library. Unboxing Libby was published in April 2025
