Recent events must be taken into account, and I have a few last minute points to award:
To Miss Hermione Granger, for the cool use of intellect when others were in great peril, 50 points.
Second to Mr. Ronald Weasley, for the best played game of chess that Hogwarts has seen these many years, 50 points.
And third to Mr. Harry Potter, for pure nerve and outstanding courage, I award Gryffindor House 60 points.
10 points to Parvati Patil, for demonstrating remarkable bravery in choosing the color of her hair ribbons all term,
10 points to Seamus Finnigan, for his explosive passion for Transfiguration,
5 points to Dean Thomas, for artistic courage in doodling a lion during Professor Binns’ lectures
15 points to Lavender Brown, for outstanding commitment to morning affirmations,
10 points to Katie Bell, for always holding Quidditch practice,
5 points to Angelina Johnson, for excellent leadership in organizing the Gryffindor common room throw pillows,
10 points to Alicia Spinnet, for courageously submitting her Potions homework,
10 points to Lee Jordan, for his unwavering moral courage in narrating Quidditch matches with no noticable bias,
10 points to Oliver Wood, for inspirational speeches that filled the Gryffindor locker room with fiery determination,
5 points to Romilda Vane, for general bravery
5 points to Cormac McLaggen, for showing great Gryffindor confidence during matches against Slytherin
And 100 points to each member Gryffindor House, for demonstrating collective fortitude, camaraderie, and unparalleled house spirit… in tolerating Peeves' antics.
And finally, it takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends, I award 10 points, to Mr. Neville Longbottom.

Assuming that my calculations are correct, I believe a change in decoration is in order.
