It is recommended that you don't leave home, and that you don't do anything dangerous while staying home.
Also, it's basically 4 days you should be careful, well, at the very start when the "shadow" starts and it starts decelerating bad things start happening, then right when it "stops" and turns back to become retrograde, it's the days in red.
Then it moves at a steady pace in retrograde motion, which isn't that bad. Then it does it again but back, when turning direct, so despite being direct, the most dangerous things happen.
Finally there's the shadow of the exit, when it's gaining full speed until it maxes out, those are also problematic days, and it's funny because when that happens ignorant people claim "see? It's been direct for two weeks and these terrible things happened anyway" because they don't know about the critical days of the aftershadow.
Around here we call it the "mercury tailwhip", because, really, that's how it feels like, on its way out it may take away something with it.
