>When has communism ever worked? If communism is so great then give me some of your money.
Also, you completely misunderstand the relationship of Communism/Capitalism. Communism isn't about "taking your money" it's about giving resources back to the people who produced them.
Under Capitalism, 90% of the profits go to the people at the top who produced very little if any of the labor. They are literally stealing your labor to enrich themselves and then convince you that taking it back would be "theft". Do you believe Elon Musk actually produced 500 billion dollars worth of goods for the entire world? Of fucking course not. The guy is a car salesman whose cars are selling like shit outside of California. 500 billion dollars is more money than the entire bottom 20% of humanity sees. Do you really think Musk produces more value on his own than 1.5 billion people?
Under a Communist system you simply cut out the middleman, the banker/property owner/investor who gives you seed money for your business is replaced by the Government, and that class of people are either eliminated or put to work for the People doing the same thing they did before but for the betterment of humanity, if such thing is possible. China does this with its billionaires being completely subservient to the government. Their businesses are only allowed to "grow" under terms that the government allows to make sure its own people aren't being exploited. Instead those Chinese billionaires exploit stupid Americans because America's government allows them to, and then bring that wealth back to China to benefit the Chinese system. It's really funny how clueless the average burger is when it comes to macroeconomics.
If the government actually switched to Communism overnight, the only change in your life as an average middle class worker would be more money in your pocket and more government benefits like healthcare. That's why the rich work so hard to convince you it's impossible.
