Feminism is a progressive/liberal movement, not necessarily leftist. You can be a backwards ass conservative and still support the rise of the proletariat, though that's rarer in modern western politics and more old crusty commie crap. At least where I live, the average leftist is a nutball with no connection to reality and I want nothing to do with them.
