Ossis love to pride themselves how immune they are to propaganda yet they can't stop sucking Russian cock. Even the rightoids over here believe there is some kind of natural eternal friendship between Germany and Russia which is exactly what the SED propagated to justify the occupation.
The average "right-wing" boomer ossi is just as sensitive to foreign propaganda as the green lefty wessi boomers, they just both grew up with different values that they consciously or unconsciously still hold onto to this day.
The real reason for AfD success in the east is
1) that people there have always only known a very ethnically homegenous society wheras the west learned to cope with mass migration by the late 60s at the very least. 2) they're still very bitter about how bad reunification was. And 3) the DDR still preserved some kind of patriotic culture wheras in the west anti-German ideology became increasingly rampant.
