It's fine to stop after getting one of the "meta" support cards as long as you're happy. Having an account where you have done 50+ rolls and haven't gotten a single good SSR, or worse none at all, should warrant a reroll unless you've already spent a large sum of money.
This general probably isn't acclimated to actual gachas but you have to remember that the gacha portion of the game interferes with the rest, and Umamusume is especially bad in that regard.
