No. I'd buy everything in cash. Minimize my monthly expenditure. That way if anything happens everything is paid off and my monthly expenditures are only a few hundred for electricity, gas, food, water, insurance etc. I basically can fully stop caring about finances. That peace of mind is worth a lot.
