As someone who grew up going to summer camp and had a community of people that I saw maybe once a year, but really got along with, I guarantee there are people who cry when GDQ is over and they have to go home back to real life.
I'm not a big speedrun person, but I've always been curious about going to GDQ. I bet it's wholesome as fuck and pretty easy to make friends there.
