Its fucking sad, Mihoyo caught lightning in a bottle with Genshin, an open world anime game with a simple gameplay look and with good looking characters and a simple but interesting story which many people fell in love with and with the lore. And what did they do with it? They threw that all away and went down the generic gacha route. Now the menu hopping is getting out of control, powercreep is out of control, and the simple artstyle and intriguing story vanished.
