I just started up a game of PTO I. I have never played PTO II or beyond and would like to hear your opinions on these games. Growing up my KOEI games were PTO I and Operation Europe. I've been playing several Pacific Theater games lately and nothing seems to scratch the PTO itch I always have. Navy sucks in Hearts of Iron 4. Strategic Command and Warplan Pacific are a bit shallow. Grigsby's War in the Pacific is too big/long for my patience and is a pain to configure on modern PC. PTO always feels just right. I have seen youtubers play PTO II and it doesn't look as good as PTO I. Thoughts on the two by comparison?
