The execution was maybe a little forced and contrived but im not too miffed about Gi-Hun dying, because I can get behind the moral of the story being that what makes people humans and not horses is their capability to rise above their primal survival instincts (something completely alien to the organizers of the game who can't wrap their heads around the idea of people not being inherently self-serving). This obviously isn't anything revolutionary or even that different from what the show had already previously said, but I think his sacrifice was supposed to be the ultimate testament to it since he threw the easiest possible win just to preserve the sanctity of his soul. And if the implication is supposed to be that the Korean games are done then maybe it was worth something

At the end of the day I hope we can at least all agree that the granny was the hottest
