Ranking is a measure of progress, and it's about developing your current skills in the game and it's meta. Alongside that, why by chance should 8-9 other people in the game by subjected to your boosting practices while they're trying to claw their way up on their own just to be put down by a random chance of someone smurfing/boosting? Even if you're marginally better and progressing slowly, just by sheer un-luck you can be stuck due to these random encounters which are more likely to happen not in your favor, as there's 5 people that could potentially boost in the enemy team, while only 4 on your side. It only extends the entire process of getting where you need to be, forcing you to play hundreds of games more, which also drives the narrative to everyone feeling that ranking up in league is too slow. Unless you actually want to foster that kind of environment and expect everyone to start shilling out for boosts/buying higher ranked accounts to skip the grind. A similar issue right now with games is that there's cheaters, aimlock fucksticks/esp/etc that are rarely getting caught since anti-cheat is years behind what effort cheat devs put into their shit to not get detected, and I was not surprised when I've seen a post about someone actually wanting to pull out their own cheats, just to deal with the cheaters that are ruining their games, but that also feeds into the problem and slowly becomes "normal" in the community. You won't have a genuine gaming experience few years from now, especially when you think there's nothing wrong with any of this.
