I have been saving the last 8 years and live on 2 acres with a double wide my wife's parents are letting me rent to own, but I got a big nest egg and some good credit but honestly I am looking at small home kits to order(decent ones start as low as 5 grand) and all I gotta do is hook up water, electric and sewer and later down the road I can expand on it with another kit or just do it myself since I am a full time carpenter/remodeler.

Buying a premade in the city is out of the question, I like the quiet though I found my wife in the city(even though she was raised a hillbilly poorfag)
