After being unemployed for most of my 20s, failing uni and working for just over minimum wage at callcenters I finally got a cushy government job.
I can spend 40% of my time at home where I just end up playing vidya and shitposting. While my colleagues are around my age they are mostly women, which sucks since I don't really connect with them, even thought they try to include me.
It really makes a huge difference if you have freedom at your job and you get appreciated by your co workers and boss. If I didn't get a chance working there I think I would have just stayed unemployed. Nothing is worse than getting paid a pittance while you are surrounded with retards. Vidya is better.
