I need help here: I keep watching this show and seeing people hyped for this show and I can infer some of the context from what they talk about but it feels like I'm missing a lot while I watch GQuuuuuX. Like, they mention the war, there is the masked guy that I saw once a while in Gundam media, I know people talk about as if this completely strayed off in the timeline from some older entry since a guy said ''I feel like what I did changed the course of the future'' and the story flip flops between the Pokemon trainer teens and the adults from government and the war.

Was I supposed to have watched older Gundams first? Like it'd be absurdly amazing because I'd completely infer what was going on like in Blaster Master Zero that was looked like just a remake was also a direct continuation of the original Metafight? Cause that's what it feels like when I watch GQuuuuuX. Except Metafight was super short to skim over later.

QuuuuuX is a placeholder name in programming they even delve a bit that it's something they can't read on the Gundam they were analyzing without risking some self-delete security system from triggering. I thought it was meant to fool Gundam fans like ''they will think it's X robot due to the painting but it's Y robot all ALONG and they will never see the twist coming in spite of the clues!''
