Mexico didn't gain independence from Spain until 1821 and the Mexican American war happened from 1846-1848 and concluded with the US purchasing the largely uninhabited (by the Spanish/Mexican) peoples territory as part of the armistice. Your take on history comes off as a massive ass pull based on your hurt feelings.
